Photoshop (2020)

This Place is Not a Place of Honor is a story I conceived and workshopped throughout college. Inspired by the concept of long-time nuclear waste disposal sites, the story takes place 10,000 years in the future following the protagonist Adaia as she uncovers one of these nuclear disposal sites. The illustrated graphic novella explores themes of identity, racism, colonization, sexuality, climate change, and economic class disparity.
